PROPER INSTALLATION OF COOLER MEDIA
The cooler media must be installed with the steeper flute angle slanting down
toward the side of air entry. This directs more water to the inlet to provide the maximum
temperature drop and to minimize water coming off the back of the pad.
INITIAL WASHING OF THE MEDIA
The media should be washed for several hours by running the pump without
any air flow through the media. The washing action will clean out any particulate matter
as well as reduce the odor and improve the wetting ability.
ENSURE PROPER WATER FLOW AND BLEED OFF
The media will reach it peak operation after about 100 hours of operation. The chemical constituency and rigidifying agents in the media will be the set in. Ignoring any discolor in the water. During this initial period. Run proper bleed off during this period.
